Trisha has been teaching private lessons for 10 years. She teaches from her home in the Coronado neighborhood in Central Phoenix, located near the Phoenix Art Museum. Please use the contact form to inquire about availability and pricing. Ages 5 and up. 

Trisha has her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona.

As a professional vocalist, Trisha takes her training very seriously. “There is no end of the road for learning, I like to tell my students, no matter how great you are, you can always learn more and grow stronger.” She has studied voice for over 20 years.

As a professional actress, Trisha has performed in over 40 professional productions across the United States. She has worked locally for Arizona Theatre Company, Phoenix Theatre Company, Arizona Broadway Theatre and Childsplay. She has been lucky to play many different types of roles throughout her career.

VOICE LESSONS

Focus: training the voice with the use of warm-ups, strengthening the vocal chords, understanding proper breathing with the diaphragm, sight singing and basic music skills, audition preparation, or songs just for fun. Also, if desired, learning how to act/perform songs.

Trisha is a trained vocalist in many styles. Musical theatre genre is her specialty, but she also teaches classical, jazz, pop, and rock styles.

ACTING LESSONS

Focus: proper breathing, diction, character development, use of voice and movement, physicalization, audition preparation, and help with finding material (monologues). Specializes in British, Southern and French dialects/accents.
